Tellus is an ancient Roman earth goddess, overseer of the human and vegetable fecundity and reproduction, protector of the offspring, and the soil’s fruitfulness. Tellus inspired us to create something natural and comfortable for the most beautiful creatures of this world – babies – but with social awareness. And that’s when Tellus Baby was born.
Tellus Baby gives your little one the absolute best when it comes to essential clothing, but at the same time, looks after the wonderful planet with utmost love and care.
We take care of what we select and how we make it so you can rest assured that your baby and your planet are getting the best. We ensure that your baby enjoys the fruits of your responsible decision while preserving the enriched and healthy environment in which your baby will grow.
OUR SUSTAINABLE CLOTHES FOR BABIES
How is it made?
Tellus Babywear is environment-friendly, designed in Spain and made in Italy. The factories are Tessile e Salute certified, specializing in eco-toxicology and aiming to protect the health of consumers by monitoring all of the stages of garment production.
Our supplier is a GOTS, GRS and OCS certified textile supplier and ensures a traceable process with the lowest environmental impact.
For our production, we keep in mind that fabrics, when not produced ecologically, are extremely harmful, affecting mainly those with weak immune systems, the elderly, and babies. Toxic substances present in fabrics are responsible for 8% of dermatological illnesses.
Tellus Baby uses property-rich knit fabrics, non-toxic sustainable haberdashery, and recycled packaging to produce natural innovative baby essential clothing that provides a gentle touch on the baby’s delicate skin.

Information on our two fabrics:
PYRATEX® Cosmetic
Antiperspirant and cooling, this uniquely soft, comfortable, refreshing fabric has anti bacterial properties, accompanied by a superior breathability.
The bamboo fiber in it is a Oekotex certified cellulose fiber grown in China. There are over 700 bamboo species in the world, but only CI-BAMBOO can be made into textile bamboo fiber: it is grown organically, without chemical pesticides, in the Sichuan province. Bamboo is 100% biodegradable and can grow as much as 3 feet overnight, making it a fast growing, renewable resource. Because the cross-section of the bamboo fiber is filled with various micro-gaps and micro-holes, garments made from Bamboo fiber are 1 – 2oC lower than others, and can rapidly absorb and evaporate sweat ·
